Mark Hancock is Professor of Physiotherapy in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Science, Macquarie University. He has over 20 years of clinical experience as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist. His research focusses on the diagnosis and management of low back pain. He has published 150 peer reviewed papers and received over $5.5 million dollars in funding to support his research. He has published in leading medical journals including New England Journal of Medicine, Lancet and British Medical Journal as well as the leading Spine and Physiotherapy journals. Mark is a member of the associate editorial board for the Cochrane Back Review Group and Journal of Physiotherapy board member.
